During October we held 5 patient and public engagement sessions that were designed for our patients to express their quetstions and concerns regarding the closure of St Mary's. The details of these events were published via our first Patient Newsletter, our Facebook page, SMS text, email, post and also were also available in hard copy in our surgeries .
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Throughout the engagement process, we have consolidated our responses to all of the questions we have received either in advance of, or during, our Patient & Public Engagement Sessions, within a single FAQ document. All questions in this document are reproduced exactly as they were submitted either via email or the ‘chat’ in Zoom. Please click on the link below to access the final document.
Note: please note that this document currently includes those FAQs relating to all of the sessions held on the 01/10/20, 06/10/20, 09/10/20 , 13/10/20 and 17/10/20.
Our Patient Survey closed at midnight on the 25th October and we received more than 1,400 responses on-line. We have also received additional hard copy survey responses on paper. We will now go through each and every one of these responses, with the feedback, along with the points raised during our series of Zoom Patient and Public Engagement Events, being included in our official Branch Surgery Closure Application which will be submitted to the CCG in early November. We will also use the feedback to inform our Service Improvement Programme which has already delivered significant improvements in call response times. We will keep patients updated on the programme content and priorities, as well as the impact it is having, through regular and ongoing communications in the weeks and months ahead.
We want to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has taken the time to complete the survey and attend our events and for the very useful feedback we have received. We will now use this to shape and improve our patient services going forward.
