Promoting your wellbeing with One You Lincolnshire
If the new year has given you the impetus to achieve your health and wellbeing goals, including stopping smoking, reducing your alcohol consumption becoming more active or eating well and losing weight then One You Lincolnshire is able to help.
One You Lincolnshire is an initiative for Lincolnshire residents who want additional support to help them achieve their healthy lifestyle goals.
One You said: ‘Our dedicated team provide a range of clinically proven interventions alongside motivational support and encouragement every step of the way, to help improve the health of Lincolnshire residents.’
One You Lincolnshire specialise in supporting those with long term complex health issues and already support similar clients who have come to them via primary care referral. All their services are funded by Lincolnshire County Council and are free to every service user at the point of delivery - they provide support in person and virtually, for groups and 1:1. They have specialist programmes for postnatal weight management, healthy ageing and smoking in pregnancy too that work alongside their pathways of Drink Less, Move More, Eat Well and Lose weight and to be Smoke free.
GP Partner Dr Ian Wheatley said: ‘One You Lincolnshire is a valuable local service which reinforces and underpins the good healthcare advice that we give our patients. We can refer eligible patients or else they can self-refer if they meet the criteria. Health Awareness Session via Zoom - 24 January:
One You Lincolnshire is running a Health Awareness Session via Zoom on Monday 24 January at 2pm. The session will cover what, why and how we eat, linking behaviours and emotions with factors such as sleep and stress and examining how they influence choices around food.
